How to use this tool

Reduce image file size for a website, email attachment or upload form. Convert between PNG, JPEG and WebP, set maximum dimensions, and compare the original with the result before downloading.

  1. Upload up to 10 still PNG, JPEG or WebP images.
  2. Choose an output format and quality. Optionally set maximum dimensions or a target file size.
  3. Process the batch, check each target label and preview, then download one image or a ZIP.

Example to try

For a website photo, try WebP at quality 80 with a maximum width of 1920 pixels. For a transparent logo, try PNG or lossless WebP.

Supported use and limits

Up to 10 still images per batch, each up to 18 MiB and 12 megapixels, with a 60 MiB total. Compression mode preserves aspect ratio and does not enlarge images. Social media mode exports exact canvases using cropping or padding, with optional enlargement. Metadata is removed. JPEG replaces transparency with your chosen background color.

Why is the compressed image sometimes larger?

An already optimized original, a different format or lossless encoding can produce a larger file. Compare the reported sizes. Lower JPEG/WebP quality or smaller dimensions may help; PNG has no lossy quality setting. Target-size search is best effort and reports whether the limit was met. Automatic target resizing requires your permission and stops at a 320-pixel longest edge.
